Update #2

Progress Towards Our Goals
Continued prototyping the app in Figma.
Designed new app features (low-fidelity home page, data view page, and settings page, etc.).
Built dynamic feel with prototyping and live interaction for our testers.
Focused on programming for accessibility for a wide array of use cases.
Contacted Dr. Nayak and scheduled a meeting to go through and evaluate our current app features (to know what to improve).
Filled out the Mentor Form.
Developed a proprietary questionnaire based on common CF questionnaires to evaluate CF patients’ symptoms. We worked to make it effective for practitioners and incorporate health-friendly, patient-centric designs.
Learned how HIPAA data is managed, and how to structure data for the eventual app with a backend (once we grow to the iOS stage).
Contacted several ENTs to schedule time to meet their patients.

These are some examples of the tasks that we've recently completed and the ones we are currently working on (from Linear).

Here is an overview of the different app screens that we've been wireframing/prototyping.
Goals for the Next Two Weeks
Our main focus for the next two weeks is to continue developing in Figma and reach our minimum viable product/prototype as soon as possible. We are currently taking our time to make the app function, while exploring the accessible designs we will implement (after the MVP is achieved) on the side. It would be great to achieve at least a basic flow through the first 10-15 app screens in this stage.
We hope to make as much progress as we did over the past two weeks, and hopefully prototype more critical features, such as the symptom quiz (in-progress) and health logs (focus on elegant design over just function). We are also beginning to lean more deeply into research and development, which we can begin to incorporate into our application as the MVP takes shape rapidly.
Changes to Our Project
There have not been many changes to our project. However, we have planned to create a quiz that is multiple choice instead of a linear spectrum from 1-10 as we think it is more patient-friendly. Additionally, we seek to declutter some of the designs to give a more organized feel (especially since we will be meeting with patients and experts more frequently soon) and to make the patients feel relaxed when they are utilize our application.
Upcoming Issues or Risks
We may have trouble implementing some niche components, such as graphs and other interactive elements. We will both be watching videos and taking a mini-course relevant to designing accurate and accessible graphs in Figma. We also expect some constructive feedback in the coming weeks that may lead us to pivot, which will simply require us to devote more time to refine our designs and flows.
