Update #3
Mar 27, 2023
Progress Towards Our Goals
Continued prototyping the app in Figma.
Focused on expanding the functionality of our app.
Built dynamic feel with prototyping and live interaction, especially within the logging features.
Redesigned the navigation bar of our app to a high-fidelity level (see below).
Completed the symptom tracking MVP.
Learned how to animate a smart card flip for the medication viewing page.
Planned to meet with Adam Galper, Milan's Yale interviewer and advisor surrounding the CF user experience.

This is the component (interactive feature) for our navigation bar that will populate the bottom section of the app universally.

Here is an overview of the different app screens that we've been wireframing/prototyping in the last two weeks.

These are some examples of the tasks that we've recently completed and the ones we are currently working on (from Linear).
Goals for the Next Two Weeks
Our main focus for the next two weeks is still to continue developing in Figma and reach our minimum viable product/prototype as soon as possible. We've nearly prototyped every page of our application at this point (low-fidelity at minimum).
Since our last update, we've made lots of progress on the research/development of our science-backed features, such as the questionnaire and the symptom logging. We hope to focus on improving the appearance of the app in the next chapter since we now have almost finished the base functionality of our application. We also aim to conduct a formal interview with our mentor and upload that to this site.
Changes to Our Project
We have not made any significant changes to our project. Since our task is to develop as much as we can in a relatively short amount of time, we have favored picking a direction and running with it, rather than making a lot of changes. In this way, we are adopting the "move fast and break things" mentality. When it's time to refine our product and present it to others in an organized fashion, we will.
Upcoming Issues or Risks
As expected, we have identified some issues with implementing our more complex features, such as graphs and advanced animations. While this has slowed us down in some ways, it has allowed us to learn more complex processes in our prototyping platform, Figma.
Additionally, we expect to make some substantial improvements to the privacy of our app soon, which may become a minor headache if we cannot implement these features within Figma. We also have been facing some issues with our website platform, Framer. Hopefully these will be resolved in the next few days.
