About Prototype
The first four images above illustrate several example screens from our high-fidelity, nearly-full functioning prototype. As elaborated in the Project Status Updates, we designed and prototyped this application in Figma. There are many more screens that we designed that are part of Fibrosity and its web application. By using the link above, you can try out the prototype for yourself to view these additional pages. We recommend using a computer or downloading the Figma mobile app if you intend to try it on your smartphone.
After creating our prototype, we created custom silicone bracelets and pill bottle caps. Each bracelet and bottle cap contains at least one NFC chip, which we programmed to open a web-based version of our application. The bracelet was created to be a discreet medical ID for pediatric patients with CF, especially while at school. By simply tapping the bracelet to any modern smartphone, a personalized medical ID screen will open. When the pill bottle cap is tapped, a page opens to either enter a new medication or log an existing one as "taken." When our app is fully-developed, we hope to add functionality to program new NFC chips as well.
